What is your return policy on custom items?
Every custom ordered item is made just for you. For this reason, returned goods cannot be resold, so custom items can't be returned. We test all our products to ensure that they meet our quality standards. If unexpected problems occur, contact us within 7 days of receiving your product. We'll do our best to solve the problem for you!
Does the U of T licensing department need to check my design?
If you used any of the U of T branding in your design (logo, word marks, trademarks) then U of T’s Licensing approval is required. We handle this process for you - a copy of your design will automatically be sent to U of T's Licensing. If there are any issues, we'll let you know, and you'll have an opportunity to adjust your design based on U of T's Licensing feedback. There are no additional costs to use the U of T's branding in your design.
Are there any other design restrictions?
No additional color and/or location charges can be made once a design has been approved. You must have ownership rights to the content of your design. Profanity or inappropriate images will not be approved/printed.
What files types are accepted?
Vector Based Files are preferred: .ai (Adobe Illustrator). Photoshop file must adhere to the following settings:
- Image to size of print, 300 ppi
- RGB (sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile for better colour accuracy)
- Transparent background
What fees apply to additional artwork adjustments?
Any additional file adjustments (resizing, reformatting, etc) required to get artwork ready for print, beyond basic set up, will incur an extra fee of $12.50/ 15min.
