Our used textbook stock primarily consists of textbooks purchased during our buyback programs. However, if we do not get enough supply from buybacks, we must order additional used inventory from a wholesale supplier. This does mean that stock of used books is limited, and because used books are often significantly cheaper than new books, the do sell out very quickly. Be sure to get here early to get the best chance of getting hold of one!
This depends mostly on the time of year that you place your order. We endeavour to get your order processed within a target of 1 – 3 business days. If we are relatively slow, your order will be processed the same day. If your order was placed during a busy period, such as the start of term, there may be a short delay and your order may take up to 7 business days. It is very rare that it takes this long, however.
The minimum time is 1 hour. It takes at least and hour for the order to be recognised and processed in our system.

Our used textbooks are often significantly cheaper than new ones, however stock of these can be limited. The option to rent your textbook for the term / year is another great way for you to save money. Find out more about Textbook Rentals.

The price varies daily, and depends on the demand of the textbook for courses at universities across North America. If lots of universities are using the book, there will be high demand, and a higher price. If it's rarer, the price may be lower. The price changes seasonally as well: as university bookstores typically purchase their stock for the new terms in summer, and late fall, this can often be the best time to sell.
You can check the current price we will buy back the book for on our website: http://www.sellmytextbooks.org/members/35/index.cfm?index=SELL

An access code is a password / code you use to access course content online. The content you access depends on the course, but can include things such as practice exam questions, interactive videos to help you understand course concepts, and course assignments. If your professor requires you to purchase an access code, it is because at least part of your grade will be related to and/or come from the online content. If your professor recommends that you purchase an access code, it is probably because the online content gives you access to additional study material. These can be purchased online or instore, and will be final sale and non-returnable.
